PAST DESIGNS

JPL Flight Projects Center, Pasadena, CA

$63M; Construction of a new, seven-story ground-up structural steel building #321, with six-stories above ground as well as a basement level and a 428-seat attached auditorium. Building totals 195,000 square feet constructed to replace six existing structures and its tenants on the JPL campus. Project features painted metal panels, storefront, and window exterior skin system with numerous exterior features such as steel canopies and sunscreens, glass handrails and other ornamental work as well as a green roof. The center was designed by LPA, Incorporated to achieve LEED GOLD Certification on an extremely constrained site.

The Carlyle, Los Angeles, CA

$115M; Luxurious, 24-story residential condominium complex with four levels of subterranean parking located along the Westside Wilshire Corridor. The 78 high-end condominiums will feature custom European cabinets, granite counter tops, marble floors, Miele and Wolf appliances, marble showers with frameless glass doors, individual elevators, and amenities such as a wine cellar, health club and valet parking. Individual units will average over 3000 square feet. The exterior will consist of European limestone, architectural precast, and glass curtain wall.

Westlake Landmark, Westlake Village, CA

$19M; Construction of two steel-framed, three story, core and shell, class A office buildings totaling 180,000 rentable square feet. Westlake Landmark’s distinctive design features include a plaster exterior, elegantly sloping skyline parapets, sandstone clad entry porticos and highly articulated facades with recessed.

UCLA Hedrick Residence Hall, Los Angeles, CA

$32M; New construction of nine-story residence hall, addition of a vending area to an existing vending building, and renovation of the first floor of the existing Hedrick Residence Hall. All construction was completed while existing facilities remained in full function. This concrete structure showcased exposed finish concrete, plaster and an exterior curtain wall. The project also included an expansive hardscapeand landscape package, and telecommunications infrastructure upgrades for residence expansion.
